Make sure your team signs up before November 30th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PST to secure your spot! The competition case will be released to all registered teams via email on November 30th, 2025.

November 30th - December 31st: First Round (Remote)

Teams will complete a buy-side investment presentation, including a pitch deck and financial model.
- Case Release: November 30th, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. PST
- Submission Deadline: December 31st, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. PST Open to all registered teams.

January 28-30th: Final Round

Deliverables: Sell-side investment presentation with an updated pitch deck and financial model.

‍Format: Two-day, in-person event held in Vancouver, BC.
‍
‍Audience: Presentations will be delivered to industry professionals and judges.
‍
‍Eligibility: Selected top teams from the first round.
‍
‍Case Details: Released at the event.

Team Registration

Each team must have one member register and purchase on behalf of the team. Each team must provide information for at least two members during registration.

Member Information

Relevant details (e.g., contact information, university name, program) must be entered during the sign-up process.

Email Address Accuracy

Please include accurate email addresses, as SCMC will communicate all case materials, updates, and deliverables via email.

Team Size & Updates

Additional members (up to four total) can be added later by contacting info@scmc-ubc.ca with the new team member’s full name, email, and university details.

Team Composition

Each team must consist of 2–4 students. Members may come from different universities and can include both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Registration Updates

If your team has fewer than four members at registration, additional members can be added later by emailing info@scmc-ubc.ca with their name, email, and university.

Diversity Encouraged

Teams are encouraged to build diverse skill sets, combining strengths in finance, strategy, and presentation.
